A woman in Uttar Pradesh, India, has died after an unlicensed doctor attempted a kidney stone surgery while following a YouTube tutorial. The incident occurred on December 5th in the Barabanki district, where the victim, Munishra Rawat, was taken to an unauthorized clinic. Her husband reported that the practitioner, Gyan Prakash Mishra, diagnosed her with kidney stones and offered surgery for a fee.
During the operation, Mishra allegedly guided himself using a YouTube video while under the influence of alcohol. He made severe cuts to the patient's abdomen, damaging multiple internal organs, and failed to address the kidney stones. Rawat succumbed to her injuries the following day. The clinic owners reportedly fled the premises shortly after her death.
