The woman, identified as Ruby Yadav from Lucknow, was brought to a health center on Monday evening when her condition deteriorated. Doctors pronounced her dead later that night. Her father filed a complaint alleging her husband, Ankit Yadav, conspired with the godman and his associate to keep her tied up.
Further legal action is pending the receipt of the post-mortem report. The three accused have been arrested and remanded in judicial custody, as the investigation into the tragic event continues.
