Summary

- The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Stony Brook Yacht Club.
- Video footage reportedly captured significant portions of the altercation.

A 33-year-old woman, identified as Kacy Corso, has been apprehended by New York police for her alleged involvement in the stabbing death of Christopher Millwater, 52. The incident transpired in the parking lot of the Stony Brook Yacht Club, a location more commonly associated with scenic views and celebrations. Police allege Corso was responsible for the fatal stabbing of Millwater, a resident of Selden.
The confrontation reportedly began in the parking area adjacent to the yacht club and a popular venue, approximately 60 miles east of New York City. Authorities believe that extensive video surveillance from the yacht club, covering the parking lot and surrounding areas, may have captured the event. Corso was scheduled to appear in court on charges of second-degree murder.
Court documents reveal Corso has faced unrelated charges earlier this year concerning illegal access to a boat launch parking lot and entering a beach area after dark in a nearby town. Millwater, according to his social media, had recently been declared cancer-free in October. This arrest marks a grim turn for the typically serene location.
