The victim was reportedly hit multiple times after falling in a neighbor's yard. A neighbor witnessed the distressing event and reported hearing Ray threaten to kill the victim. The injured man was transported to the hospital in critical condition, suffering from broken bones and dislocated body parts requiring surgery.
Following the attack, Ray crashed her vehicle into a utility pole and fled on foot. She was apprehended later that day in south Memphis. The victim, whose identity has not been released, is recovering from his severe injuries.
