Summary
- A 16-year-old with cystic fibrosis had his e-bike stolen.
- The bike was a Make-A-Wish gift meant to give him independence.
- The theft occurred at a McDonald's while he was ordering food.

A Las Vegas teen's Make-A-Wish e-bike, which symbolized his freedom, was stolen recently. Jaiden Rector, 16, who lives with cystic fibrosis, was at a McDonald's on March 24 when the theft occurred.
Jaiden and his mother were frequent visitors to the McDonald's, but this time, while he went inside to order, his e-bike was taken. This specialized bicycle, gifted in December, enabled Jaiden to keep pace with his friends and engage in daily activities despite his health condition.
His mother shared that the e-bike gave Jaiden more independence and the ability to socialize without overexerting himself. The family expressed deep devastation over the theft, noting the bike's significance as his wish.
A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by the family to assist Jaiden in recovering from this loss.
