Madhya Pradesh State Tiger Strike Force (STSF) concluded a three-day questioning of Wildlife SOS CEO Kartick Satyanarayan on Wednesday night. The investigation focuses on the recovery of 10 leopard skins in Agra and potential links to a poaching network associated with Kuno.
Satyanarayan has reportedly denied all allegations against himself, his organization, and its staff, emphasizing their collaborative efforts with government agencies on wildlife protection. He was summoned by STSF after the Supreme Court directed him to cooperate with authorities, following the registration of a case on July 30 regarding the Agra skins.
As part of the ongoing probe, STSF has arrested several individuals, including two persons linked to Wildlife SOS: field worker Bhagwan Singh and official Wasim Akram. The Madhya Pradesh investigation is examining alleged wildlife hunting within the state and the facilitation of wildlife articles, while a separate Uttar Pradesh probe addresses the possession and transport of the recovered skins.
