In Ramgarh, Jharkhand, police apprehended four people, including the wife of the deceased, in connection with the murder of Rohit Kumar. The 38-year-old victim was found dead on Wednesday near the Pararu Nala bridge, with his body concealed in roadside bushes. This discovery followed a complaint lodged by the victim's brother.
During questioning, Rohit's wife, Anju Devi, confessed to her involvement and implicated three others: her mother Sundari Devi, her brother Dineshwar Prajapati, and an acquaintance, Mohammad Shaukat Ansari. The police stated that marital disputes, particularly concerning Anju's conduct, frequently led to arguments between the couple, with a significant disagreement occurring the day before the murder.
Investigators confirmed that Anju, her mother, and her brother were directly involved in the killing. Shaukat Ansari allegedly assisted in disposing of the body using his vehicle to prevent its discovery. A bloodstained plank and a dupatta, suspected to be the murder weapons, were recovered by the authorities as evidence.
