Wedding brawl erupts into brutal road attack

A wedding celebration in Uttar Pradesh descended into violence on the night of February 13. An argument over a DJ song reportedly escalated when an attendee, Raunak Yadav, allegedly assaulted Shiva Mishra. Following the altercation, as Shiva left the event on his motorcycle, a Scorpio vehicle rammed him from behind.
Shiva Mishra and his motorcycle were dragged for approximately 100 meters. He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the medical college, where his condition remains serious. Eyewitnesses described the chaotic scene. The driver of the Scorpio fled the location, but the vehicle was seized by police.
Mamta Mishra, Shiva's mother, has filed a formal complaint. Authorities have initiated a case and are actively working to apprehend the accused individual, Raunak Yadav, the son of a village head. The incident occurred near Pihani Chungi, close to the Superintendent of Police's residence.
