The rape occurred near Mably Way on Tuesday evening, when a man on a bicycle approached a woman in her late teens and attacked her before fleeing on a black bike. This follows a sexual assault on Main Street on January 21 and an attempted sexual assault on Mayfield Avenue on January 24.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart May thanked the public for their support and information provided since Thursday's appeal. He emphasized that while an arrest has been made, the investigation is ongoing and further details are crucial.
