19 Dec
Summary
- Former 'The Voice' contestant Kata Hay arrested on warrant.
- Warrant relates to vehicular homicide and DUI charges.
- She was apprehended in Oklahoma on Wednesday morning.

Kata Hay, a former contestant on 'The Voice,' has been arrested in Oklahoma on a vehicular homicide warrant. The Goodlettsville Police Department in Tennessee confirmed the active warrant from Davidson County, leading to her apprehension by the Osage County Sheriff's Office early Wednesday morning. Hay is currently detained at the Osage County Jail and is scheduled to appear before a district court judge on Monday to address extradition.
Online records indicate that Hay, whose legal name is Kata Huddleston, has an existing case in Davidson County involving a second DUI offense. She is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident where property damage was estimated to be over $1,500, and driving with an open container of alcohol. These offenses reportedly occurred on December 10.
This is not Hay's first legal entanglement. In 2022, she served several months in jail after pleading guilty to making sexual advances toward a 16-year-old boy. The victim's mother had detailed inappropriate physical contact. Hay, best known for reaching 'The Voice' top 20 in 2016, has not yet commented on the recent charges.
