On Tuesday, a violent family dispute over property in Ambedkarnagar's Jagdishpur Kadipur village escalated into a horrific late-night shooting incident. The accused, identified as Prince Maurya, allegedly opened fire on his father and uncle, leaving them with critical bullet injuries. Both men were rushed to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment at KGMU, Lucknow. The assailant, Prince Maurya, is currently on the run.
In his statement to the police, the injured Ram Narayan said that his son Prince first shot his uncle Om Narayan and then turned the weapon on him when he came out after hearing the gunfire. Om Narayan sustained bullet wounds in his abdomen, while Ram Narayan was shot in the shoulder, back, and neck.
