According to the report, the incident occurred on the morning of October 7th, 2025, at the Sohna bus stand in Gurgaon. The altercation began when Abid, a software engineer, was boarding a bus and a young man behind him allegedly made an objectionable comment. This led to a verbal confrontation between the two.
Abid then called his brother Juber, who works as a home guard, for support. However, the situation quickly escalated when the man who had abused Abid summoned five or six associates, who arrived armed with sticks and rods. The group then charged at the brothers, mistakenly attacking two bystanders, Mustafa and Yusuf, who were law students from G.D. Goenka University.
