The victim, identified as Udayraj, a carpenter, tragically fell from the second floor of a building currently under construction. The Vikhroli police have initiated legal proceedings by booking the labour contractor, Ganesh Danawale, on charges of causing death by negligence.
The FIR was lodged following a complaint by Shailesh Yadav, a 23-year-old labourer. Yadav recounted that Udayraj was on a wooden platform near a window in his room on the second floor while talking on the phone, when he lost his balance and fell to his death.
