A police pursuit in Victorville last week led to a serious collision, injuring two bystanders. The incident began when deputies spotted a stolen 2025 Nissan Sentra, allegedly taken earlier that morning. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Adam Rodriguez, immediately fled from deputies when they attempted to stop him.
The chase spanned approximately three miles before culminating in a crash at the intersection of Palmdale Road and El Evado Road. Rodriguez's vehicle collided with another car, resulting in injuries to two individuals who were inside. Paramedics transported the injured parties, including Rodriguez, to a local hospital, where they were treated and discharged within a week.
Authorities reported that Rodriguez was on parole for carjacking and was under the influence of drugs during the pursuit. He has been booked on charges of violating his parole, causing injury during the pursuit, and possession of a stolen vehicle. He is currently being held without bail at the High Desert Detention Center.
