Unnerving YouTube Clip by Nick Reiner Surfaces After Parents’ Deaths

Nick Reiner, 32, has been arrested and charged with the murders of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner, after they were discovered deceased in their home on December 14, 2025. The arrest occurred less than six hours after the discovery, with authorities charging Reiner with two counts of first-degree murder. The case carries a special allegation of using a knife, potentially leading to life in prison without parole or even a death sentence.

The resurfacing of a 2016 YouTube video, featuring Nick in character, has drawn attention. In the video, he discusses his struggles with substance abuse, including marijuana, cocaine, and heroin, and makes a remark about having to be bailed out of jail. A family source described him as "creative but misguided," noting his upbringing in Hollywood.

Reiner has a documented history of addiction and homelessness since his teenage years, with his experiences forming the basis of his father's 2015 film, "Being Charlie." His parents, Rob and Michele, met while Rob was directing "When Harry Met Sally..." and married in 1989. Nick is scheduled for arraignment on January 7, 2026.
