Commander Helen Flanagan emphasized that the arrests are part of an ongoing effort to disrupt suspected malign activity. She advised the public, particularly the Jewish community, to remain vigilant and report any concerning activities to the authorities.
Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy praised the efforts of MI5 and counter-terrorism police, noting that Iran is a major global sponsor of terrorism. He stated that security services have thwarted numerous actions in recent years and affirmed the commitment to keeping the public safe.
