A shocking daylight robbery targeting an UberEats delivery driver in Penrith, Sydney, has prompted a significant police investigation. The incident, which occurred around 4 pm on Monday, involved four masked assailants who ambushed the driver at a set of traffic lights. Video footage captured one offender tackling the driver off his scooter while another fled with the vehicle.
Authorities have since arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the brazen heist. He was reportedly found with a knife and charged with several offenses, including driving a conveyance without consent and armed intent. The stolen scooter and the victim's mobile phone have been recovered by police. The teen has been granted bail and is scheduled to appear in children's court on December 15.
