On Monday, March 2, police in Cleveland discovered the bodies of two unidentified Black girls. The victims were found concealed within suitcases in a park, located near East 162nd Street and Midland Avenue.
A local resident initially alerted authorities after encountering what appeared to be a body inside a suitcase while walking his dog. Responding officers located one deceased juvenile in a shallow grave within a suitcase.
Further investigation at the scene revealed a second, similar shallow grave containing another suitcase with a body inside. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has taken custody of both victims for further investigation.
