Two individuals have been arrested by the Portage County Sheriff's Office as part of an investigation into a suspicious death. On July 21, law enforcement and emergency services responded to a report of a person in distress at 10:57 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Jeanette Pientka, a 57-year-old resident of Carson, had succumbed to severe trauma. The following day, July 22, the Sheriff's Office confirmed the incident was a homicide and announced the apprehension of two suspects.
