31 Oct
Summary
- Restaurant owner sentenced to nine years for arson.
- He hired men to set fire to a rival business.
- The arson caused $75,000 in damages.
Lynn Price, formerly associated with the Turkey Leg Hut restaurant, received a nine-year prison sentence for his role in a conspiracy to commit arson. The sentence was handed down on Friday, October 30, following his guilty plea earlier this year. Price admitted to paying four individuals to set fire to Bar 5015 in June 2020.
Bar 5015, located just 200 yards from The Turkey Leg Hut, was operated by a former business partner of Price's. The arson resulted in an explosion and approximately $75,000 in damages. Price was arrested nearly five years later, in April 2025, after investigations revealed an escalating feud between him and the owner of Bar 5015. The dispute stemmed from business disagreements, including Price's desire to be a partner in Bar 5015 and his inability to buy out his former partner's stake in The Turkey Leg Hut.
