During the ongoing murder trial for Tupac Shakur, a former security officer provided testimony about the events of 1996. William Heidmeyer, previously employed at the Maxim Hotel and Casino, described hearing multiple volleys of gunfire.
Heidmeyer recounted that he and police officers rushed to a barrier wall overlooking Flamingo and Koval streets after hearing the shots. He observed several vehicles and a man holding a pistol.
