30 Mar
Summary
- Woman charged with nine counts of murder in triple homicide.
- She allegedly killed her children's father, his mother, and stepfather.
- The alleged murders occurred after a massage at a nature preserve.

Jenna Strouble, 30, is being held in custody pending a judge's decision on charges of first-degree murder. She is accused of killing Stacy Forde, Patrick Forde, and Jacob Lambert, the father of her two young children. The alleged crimes occurred on March 23, 2026, in unincorporated Crete, Illinois.
Prosecutors contend that Strouble gave Lambert a massage before shooting him. She then allegedly drove to his parents' home and fatally shot them as well. Deputies responding to a call from Strouble's sister found the victims. Strouble was arrested shortly after in St. John, Indiana, with a loaded firearm.
Strouble reportedly told investigators she went to the nature preserve with the intention of harming Lambert. She detailed giving him a massage before shooting him. She later admitted to shooting Patrick Forde and Stacy Forde upon arriving at their home. A motive remains unclear, though Strouble cited general dislikes.
This is not the first time authorities have interacted with Strouble. In January 2025, deputies responded to her home for domestic battery and a mental health intervention, leading to her involuntary commitment. She currently faces nine counts of first-degree murder.
