Summary
- Trans woman threatened to "batter" surgeon who performed her gender reassignment surgery
- Bombarded surgeon with unwanted emails and showed up at her workplace multiple times
- Suffered mental health issues and moved back to London to escape domestic abuse

In November 2025, a 28-year-old trans woman named Vivienne Taylor is facing jail time for threatening to "batter" a top surgeon who performed her gender reassignment surgery in 2021. The surgeon, Tina Rashid, specializes in genital surgery for trans women at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
After Taylor's surgery, she organized a cake to thank Ms. Rashid, but the surgeon later realized there were a large number of photographs of her on Taylor's phone. Taylor was later discharged from the hospital but returned, insisting she be treated by the same surgeon and threatening to kill herself if she wasn't.
Ms. Rashid believed the matter had ended after Taylor was banned from seeing her and moved away from London later that year. However, Taylor got back in contact in 2025 when she returned to the capital, sending Ms. Rashid a series of unwanted emails and showing up at the hospital multiple times, claiming she had booked an appointment.
On November 2, 2025, Taylor sent Ms. Rashid a threatening email, saying she "would batter her and shag her partner." The court heard that Taylor had suffered past breakdowns in her mental health and moved back to London to escape domestic abuse.
Vivienne Taylor has now admitted to stalking causing serious alarm or distress at Westminster Magistrates' Court and will be sentenced at a later date. She will also undergo a psychological profile and be assessed by probation ahead of the sentencing hearing.
