Baltimore County leaders are initiating a series of public safety town hall meetings, starting in Towson on Monday evening. The first session, held at the George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, aims to foster community dialogue on crime concerns and identify solutions.
This initiative follows several publicized crimes in the Towson area, including a fatal road rage shooting near the mall and incidents at the Towson Town Center involving teen meet-ups, carjackings, and peeping tom allegations at a local apartment complex. County Executive Kathy Klausmeier and Police Chief Robert McCullough are scheduled to attend.
Two subsequent town hall meetings are planned to ensure broader community engagement. These will take place at CCBC Essex on Tuesday, July 14, and at the Randallstown Community Center on Wednesday, July 22, both commencing at 6 p.m.
