4 Jun
Summary
- A cruise ship visitor was found dead on St. Kitts after a multi-day search.
- The Chinese national was last seen hiking alone on the Mount Liamuiga trail.
- The cause of death for the missing tourist is still under investigation.

Authorities in St. Kitts and Nevis confirmed on June 1 that a cruise ship visitor who had been missing for several days has been found deceased. The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force announced that a search team located Wang Zyuan, a 33-year-old Chinese national.
Zyuan was last seen on May 27 around 10 a.m. local time while hiking alone on the Mount Liamuiga trail. He had contacted emergency services earlier that day reporting he was lost. Communication with Zyuan was subsequently lost.
Mount Liamuiga is a dormant stratovolcano on St. Kitts, known for its challenging hiking trail described as a "jungle climb." The police force has stated that investigations into the circumstances of Zyuan's death are ongoing and has requested that the public rely on official sources for information.
It remains unclear which cruise line Zyuan was traveling with, though a missing persons poster suggested he may have been associated with Royal Caribbean.
