A one-year-old toddler was safely rescued in Uttar Pradesh following a daring kidnapping incident on Saturday. The child, Ayansh, was abducted shortly after his mother, Suman, was struck by a speeding vehicle near their home in the Gagaha area. Two men, allegedly from the SUV that hit them, took the child and fled.
Authorities initiated a rapid response, utilizing CCTV footage to identify the vehicle and its direction. A city-wide alert was issued, and police quickly intercepted the SUV in the Sauhadaura area. While the driver escaped, the unharmed toddler was found inside the vehicle.
Two suspects have been detained for questioning. The injured mother received medical attention for a head injury at a district hospital. Police are thoroughly investigating all aspects of the kidnapping, including the motive, and are working to apprehend the driver who is currently at large.
