A disturbing incident unfolded in Fort Worth, Texas, where a man is accused of breaking into his pregnant ex-girlfriend's home and firing shots, hitting both her and her mother. Scott was shot in the neck and face, while Stewart reported being shot after witnessing her daughter being attacked. Both women are now recovering from severe injuries.
Scott recounted that her unborn baby survived the attack, but her three other children, aged 3, 4, and 8, witnessed the horrifying event. She stated that the children have been experiencing nightmares due to Mike's alleged prior violent behavior throughout their relationship, which ended when Scott became pregnant. Scott believes Mike may have been tracking her location using an iPad he left behind.
Mike was apprehended shortly after the shooting. He faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, and kidnapping. He is currently held without bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on January 5, 2026. Legal representation and a plea status for Mike have not yet been determined.
