A man identified as Aaron Webb was arrested in Fort Worth, Texas, on Tuesday, December 30, following a violent incident at an apartment complex in Arlington. Webb is accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's residence, where he allegedly shot her current boyfriend. The injured man was hospitalized but is expected to recover.
Following the shooting, Webb reportedly forced his ex-girlfriend into her own vehicle and fled the scene. A witness description and tracking technology, including flock cameras, enabled authorities to locate Webb and the victim in Fort Worth. Webb was apprehended without incident, and a firearm was recovered. The ex-girlfriend sustained injuries to her face during the abduction but managed to escape relatively unscathed.
Webb, originally from Mississippi, has been charged with several offenses, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, stalking, unauthorized use of a vehicle, aggravated kidnapping, deadly conduct, aggravated assault family violence, and burglary of a habitation. The victim had reportedly moved to Arlington to escape Webb's persistent attention.
