Summary
- Couple charged with capital murder for allegedly killing parents.
- Bodies discovered in garbage bags within a deep ravine.
- Suspects apprehended with two children in their vehicle.

A couple, Cassandra Lange, 29, and Joby Williams, 30, have been arrested in Texas, accused of capital murder in the deaths of Lange's mother and stepfather. The investigation began when a welfare check was requested for Stephen Rehbein, who did not report to work.
Deputies found evidence of a crime at the residence, leading to a search warrant. Stephen Rehbein's vehicle was later located in Corpus Christi. Lange and Williams were apprehended in the vehicle with two young children.
Authorities allege that Lange confessed to killing her mother, Cherry Rehbein, and stepfather, Stephen Rehbein, with Williams, and disposing of their bodies in a ravine. Investigators located two large garbage bags containing the victims' bodies in a ravine off FM 1283.
The victims were identified by a medical examiner. Lange and Williams are each held on a $1 million bond. The two children found with the suspects have been placed with Child Protective Services.
