Three teenagers have been sentenced to significant prison terms for a violent stabbing incident that occurred in Morris Park, located in Birmingham's Alum Rock area. The attack, which took place in March of the previous year, left a 15-year-old boy with serious injuries, from which he is still recovering.
Ibrahim Ishfaq and Mohammed Hasan, both 18, along with a 17-year-old who cannot be named, admitted to causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They were sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on December 23rd. Ishfaq received four years and 10 months, Hasan four years and five months, and the unnamed teenager also received four years and 10 months.
A fourth defendant, Idris Urfan, aged 22, was sentenced to one year in prison for assisting an offender. West Midlands Police emphasized their commitment to combating violence and weapon use on the streets, asserting that offenders will be prosecuted and face serious consequences.
