With a taser trained on her, Chance briefly confronted the officer before complying and dropping the shovel. She was then arrested and taken into custody without further incident.
Authorities stated that Chance's actions caused over $1,200 worth of damage to the police vehicle. "Regardless of age, resorting to intentional damage of people or property in our city will result in an arrest," the Port St. Lucie Police Department said in its press release.
