- Daughter and her lover allegedly murdered him.
- Two suspects arrested, one remains at large.
In Vijayapura, Karnataka, a 62-year-old retired teacher, Siddappa Anjutagi, was found deceased by the roadside. Investigations have revealed allegations that his own daughter, Priyanka, conspired with her lover, Santosh Sindhe, and Santosh's friend, Gururaj Biradar, to commit the murder.
Disputes over Siddappa's property and his disapproval of Priyanka's relationship with Santosh are cited as the primary motives. The alleged incident occurred after an argument on August 15, when Santosh and Gururaj reportedly strangled Siddappa and bludgeoned him with a stone before disposing of the body.
Priyanka and Santosh Sindhe have been apprehended by the police. Authorities are currently searching for Gururaj Biradar, who is still at large. The investigation into the tragic event is ongoing.
