Mormon Wives Star Faces Third DV Probe
25 Mar
Summary
- Taylor Frankie Paul is reportedly under a third domestic violence investigation.
- Investigations stem from allegations made by Dakota Mortensen in Utah.
- Paul previously pleaded guilty to aggravated assault charges in 2023.

Police in Utah are investigating a third alleged domestic violence incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul, star of 'Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,' and Dakota Mortensen. Authorities in West Jordan are reportedly reviewing videos and sorting through details of an incident from last month, based on allegations made by Mortensen. While Paul has not directly commented, investigators have spoken with her lawyer and requested an interview or written statement. This new probe emerges after a previous domestic assault investigation in Draper put production for Season Five of the show on hold. Allegations had been made in both directions by Paul and Mortensen. In 2023, Paul was arrested and subsequently pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for allegedly choking and striking Mortensen. This conviction resulted in Paul being placed on probation.
Further complications arose in February when video evidence from the 2023 incident surfaced, leading ABC to cancel Paul's role on 'The Bachelorette.' At the time, Paul's representative stated she was prioritizing her family's safety due to alleged extensive abuse. Mortensen's representatives expressed a desire for a cooperative co-parenting relationship.
