The AFP began its inquiry in June of last year following a report of an online user uploading child abuse material. The accused worker had connections to 62 early childhood education facilities, primarily in Sydney's northwest.
Authorities have urged any victim-survivors to seek support. The operation involved extensive data analysis, including reviewing 2.4 million electronic files and executing 12 search warrants over 12 months.
