A Swiggy delivery executive, identified as Tinku, sustained critical injuries after being deliberately run over by a man driving an SUV in Gurugram. The harrowing incident unfolded after the rider reportedly protested the driver for hitting his motorcycle.
CCTV footage revealed the black Scorpio SUV initially striking Tinku's parked bike and attempting to flee. It later returned, swerving towards a group of Swiggy riders. The driver, identified as Dr. Naveen Yadav, allegedly accelerated and struck Tinku when confronted, before fleeing the scene. Several other riders narrowly avoided being hit.
Following the incident, police were alerted and swiftly traced the SUV using vehicle registration details. The vehicle was seized, and preliminary investigations confirmed Dr. Yadav was the driver. Tinku was initially taken to Civil Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Rewari due to the severity of his head, chest, and leg injuries.
