Sussex Officer Accused of Assaulting Two Girls

A police officer from Sussex has been charged with multiple sexual offenses against two young girls. PC Samuel Davis, 21, stands accused of raping one minor and sexually assaulting another. These alleged acts are reported to have taken place between September 2017 and August 2019, a period when Davis himself was a teenager.
Based in Brighton and Hove, the accused officer has been suspended from his duties. Sussex Police confirmed that a Professional Standards investigation will commence once the criminal proceedings have concluded. PC Davis is scheduled to appear before Reading Magistrates' Court on Friday.
