A 26-year-old woman named Renuka was found deceased in a Hyderabad hotel room on Friday, with authorities investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Renuka, a resident of Alwal, was discovered in a room at Hotel Grand Lodge near MD Lines.
Preliminary reports indicate Renuka had checked into the hotel on Thursday night with 34-year-old Farooq, who resides in the Golconda area. Farooq informed the police that he had briefly left the room and upon returning, found Renuka allegedly hanging.
However, Renuka's family has rejected the possibility of suicide, contending that she was murdered. They have expressed strong suspicions regarding Farooq's involvement and are demanding a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
Police have secured the scene, sent the body for a post-mortem examination, and registered a case. Farooq is currently in custody for questioning as investigators explore all possibilities, including both suicide and homicide, pending forensic analysis.
