Suspected Impaired Driver Kills Pedestrian in Spokane Valley

On the evening of November 15, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Spokane Valley, Washington. According to the Spokane Valley Police Department, a 29-year-old man named Seth E. Schrammeck was driving south on Sullivan Road around 6:20 p.m. when he struck and killed a woman who was attempting to cross the road, north of Broadway Avenue.
The woman died at the scene, and the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office is working to release her identity and the cause and manner of her death. Schrammeck had two children in his vehicle, but they were unharmed in the collision.
Investigators have booked Schrammeck into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide and reckless endangerment. As of Saturday afternoon, he remains in custody. The police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant dash camera footage to come forward and contact Cpl. Todd Miller to assist with the ongoing investigation.
