The accused allegedly contacted the victim through Instagram in October, promising her employment as a receptionist at his hotel. He then invited her to the hotel under the guise of a job-related meeting.
Upon arrival, the accused reportedly took her to a hotel room where the alleged rape occurred. After the incident, the victim claims she was threatened with defamation if she disclosed the event. As she was departing, she was subjected to casteist slurs and further threats of violence by the accused and an accomplice.
Fearing for her safety, the woman initially hesitated to report the matter but eventually filed a complaint after the accused continued to pursue her. An FIR has been registered, invoking sections of the Indian Penal Code and the SC-ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
