Summary
- Stuart Hogg arrested on Feb 12, 2026 for alleged breach of non-harassment order.
- Hogg previously admitted domestic abuse and received a five-year non-harassment order.
- The former captain was stripped of his MBE earlier this month.

Former Scotland rugby union captain Stuart Hogg was arrested on February 12, 2026, in Hawick. The arrest was in connection with an alleged breach of a non-harassment order previously issued against him.
Hogg, aged 33, had admitted to a charge of domestic abuse in November 2024. This led to a five-year non-harassment order prohibiting him from approaching or contacting his estranged wife.
He received a community payback order with a year of supervision in January 2025. The recent arrest saw him released without charge, according to Police Scotland.
Earlier in March 2026, Hogg was stripped of the MBE awarded to him in the 2024 New Year Honours list for his contributions to rugby.
