Stray Bullet Kills 14-Year-Old Boy Playing Video Game at Home

On October 8, 2025, a 14-year-old boy named D'Uwan Morgan was killed by a stray bullet that blasted through the window of his bedroom as he was playing a video game. The tragic incident occurred in St. Louis County, Missouri, after a gunfight broke out between a group of teenagers in the area.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert and a 911 call reporting the gunfire on Hobkirk Drive. When they arrived, they found D'Uwan had been struck at least once and died from his injuries.
