A Los Angeles police cruiser was stolen Wednesday night in the Exposition Park area, prompting a multi-location search. The vehicle, a black-and-white Crown Victoria, was taken shortly before 8 p.m. near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
The stolen cruiser was observed traveling on the 110 Freeway, with law enforcement using an airship to track its movements. Police confirmed that the vehicle was later found in San Juan Capistrano.
As a result of the recovery, a suspect was apprehended by authorities. Law enforcement also stated that there were no weapons inside the stolen police car.
