In Stoke-on-Trent, two men were seriously injured during a public altercation that occurred on Saturday. Responding to an 11:45 BST call on The Strand in Longton, Staffordshire Police found both victims suffering from multiple suspected stab wounds. They were subsequently transported to a hospital for treatment.
Law enforcement swiftly apprehended two individuals in connection with the incident. A 28-year-old man, a resident of Stoke, was taken into custody on suspicion of wounding with intent. Concurrently, a 22-year-old man, also from Stoke, was arrested on charges of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Investigators are now seeking a third man who reportedly fled the scene after the fight. This individual is described as white, bald, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, middle-aged, and was last seen wearing black joggers on King Street shortly after the event. Police are urging local businesses to review their CCTV footage and are appealing to the public for any information that could aid their investigation.
