This effort connects women drivers with private companies and mobility platforms for employment, offering flexible work schedules and regular income. With support from private organizations, 50 electric scooters and five electric autos have been provided for training and job placement, encouraging women to enter traditionally male-dominated professions and build confidence.
Officials emphasized police support for women drivers facing potential harassment. Partner organizations like Bigili and Zippi are contributing training, vehicles, and job opportunities, fostering a safer transportation ecosystem and promoting economic self-sufficiency among women.
