Responding to reports of shots fired around 1:30 a.m. on 14 Mile Road, law enforcement discovered four individuals with gunshot wounds at the residence. A fifth victim later presented herself at a hospital, having also sustained injuries during the altercation.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the chaos erupted when two party attendees engaged in a heated argument. This dispute rapidly escalated, prompting both individuals to draw handguns and begin shooting at one another. The exchange of gunfire not only wounded the two initial combatants but also struck three other partygoers who were present at the time.
Authorities confirmed that all five victims are adults and are now in stable condition. One of the injured required immediate medical attention, with first responders applying a tourniquet to control severe leg bleeding.
