The chase concluded at a Sunoco gas station near Villanova University, where the campus was temporarily placed under lockdown. One suspect was apprehended in a nearby park after the suspects discarded the weapon and fled on foot. A police officer involved in the pursuit sustained injuries but was treated and released.
