A significant illegal drug operation was dismantled in a South Sacramento County residence on Thursday night. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office discovered a substantial marijuana sales ring operating out of a home on Bar Du Lane.
During the extensive search, law enforcement recovered an estimated street value exceeding $2.5 million. Seized items included over 300 pounds of processed marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, large quantities of THC wax, thousands of THC vape pens, three illegal firearms, and over $17,000 in cash.
The main suspect identified is Joseph Marques, 45, owner of Sacramento Elite Patrol. He was not present during the raid and is believed to have absconded to Mexico. Three other individuals were apprehended at the scene, facing charges related to drug possession, illegal firearms, and outstanding warrants.
