8 Jan
Summary
- Social media influencer fined Rs 50,000 for filming inside a bus.
- Filming occurred without authorization from the bus corporation.
- A second notice was issued after the influencer did not respond.

Pune's public bus service has levied a significant Rs 50,000 fine against social media personality Atharv Sudame. The penalty stems from unauthorized video recording, specifically the creation of reels, within one of the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) buses.
Sudame's content featured company property, including uniforms and electronic ticketing machines, along with the official PMPML badge, all captured without prior authorization. Officials stated that this action violated the corporation's policies regarding filming on their property.
The bus corporation initially issued a notice on January 2, requesting clarification from Sudame within a week. As he failed to respond, a second notice imposing the Rs 50,000 fine was subsequently served. This incident highlights the consequences of disregarding official protocols for content creation.
