Soap Star Zenk Faces DUI Charges in Florida

Colleen Zenk, a celebrated actress from "As the World Turns" and "The Young and the Restless," is currently facing two misdemeanor DUI charges in Florida. These charges stem from an arrest made on May 15, 2026, in Naples, following a two-vehicle crash. Authorities responded to the incident near Strada Place, where Zenk's vehicle allegedly struck another parked car while backing out of a handicap space. Witnesses reported that Zenk appeared unsteady after exiting her vehicle and that an odor of alcohol was detected.

During the subsequent DUI investigation, Zenk reportedly stated she had consumed "two wine cups" at a local establishment. She agreed to perform field sobriety exercises, during which the arresting officer noted signs of impairment, including balance issues and swaying. After providing two breath samples that registered BAC levels of 0.206 and 0.192, Zenk was arrested. She has since posted bond and entered a not guilty plea through her legal counsel, with a pre-trial hearing scheduled for July 29, 2026.

This legal situation is not the first for Zenk, as court records reveal prior DUI-related charges. She was charged in Collier County in May 2017 for a first offense and was previously arrested in Connecticut in 2010 for erratic driving. Zenk, who portrayed Barbara Ryan on "As the World Turns" for over three decades and recently joined "The Young and the Restless" in late 2023, continues to defend herself against these allegations.
