The chargesheet, filed under the Gangsters Act, also names Atiq's lawyer Vijay Mishra, his brother-in-law Akhlaq Ahmed, and several other associates as co-conspirators. Notably, Atiq's wife Shaista Parveen and sister Ayesha Noori are currently absconding, with rewards of Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively announced on their arrests.
Tragically, the three shooters involved in the murder, Guddu Muslim, Mohammad Arman, and Sabir, remain at large. The government has announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh each on their heads, underscoring the high-profile nature of this case. As the investigation continues, the Prayagraj police are leaving no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators to justice and provide closure to the victims' families.
